John Torrence is an event producer and strategist who specializes in operations, logistics, and production management within the business, finance, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) sectors.
With over 10 years of experience, he has worked with B2B and consumer media brands, as well as privately held corporations, including Seramount (formerly Working Mother Media), PEI Media, Diversity & Inclusion Television (DITV), and Bloomberg.
Through his extensive event experience, John has mastered the entire event planning process, from initial conception to final execution. He collaborates with content strategy teams, including editorial and program managers, to design and develop agendas and to secure and prepare speakers.
John has also developed frameworks and detailed timelines to enhance operational efficiencies, manage profit and loss (P&L) statements, and lead design strategies for event branding in collaboration with marketing stakeholders.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a concentration in Print Journalism from Delaware State University, a Master of Fine Arts in Publishing with a focus on Sales and Marketing from Rosemont College, and a DEI Strategist certificate from the Event Leadership Institute.
